ELBERTA LABOR HERITAGE CENTER

MISSION

TO COLLECT, PRESERVE, SHARE, AND ANIMATE THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF ELBERTA AND ITS PEOPLE.

The Elberta Labor Heritage Center was founded in December 2021 by a group of people that love Elberta and want to help preserve her history and heritage. If you love Elberta too, we hope you’ll join us!

what we do (or hope to do!)

ORAL HISTORIES

We’re recording interviews with residents that were active on the car ferries, the railroads, logging, anything pertaining to the history of Elberta. Click here to take a listen to some of our interviews.

WUWU COMMUNITY RADIO

We’ve starting WUWU 100.1 to be a voice for Elberta and Frankfort.  Fill out a volunteer or programmer application if you are interested in getting involved.

WALKING TOURS

We’d like to put together a self-guided walking tour of Elberta. Let us know if you’d like to help. You can email us at [email protected].

The Elberta Methodist Church celebrates 140 years of faith, community and service in 2024!
