This will be a pop-up Art and Music Event in downtown Elberta and we need YOU to make it happen. We’ll be painting a community mural at Studio 231 under the direction of artist Ellen Rutt and with the assistance of some creative spirits in town at the Sawbill Surf Club.
We’ve been granted use of the open space next to the Studio and would like to fill it with DIY Arts and Crafts activities and a Music stage. If you’re an artist or musician that would like to participate, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’re not really looking for performers – we really want to make it a participatory event – so we could have a music circle or participatory drumming. Let us know if you are available and interested in participating.
We also have a tie-dye station in the works. If you have tie-dye experience, we’d love to have your help! This is the kick-off of an event we’d like to grow in the future – so get in on the ground floor and help us build it.
